Gerald Roy Klein

Oct 23, 1937-Mar 21, 2007

Jerry passed away quietly on Wednesday morning at 3:38 am, surrounded by his family. His service on Sunday at Our Saviours Lutheran was the most beautiful service, thousands of family and friends were there; Dad had a hint of a grin on his face and he looked very good. He was at home. Two Marines came and presented the flag to Mom. The day was gorgeous - the was no storm or rain as had been forcasted and the sunshine was lovely and the weather was warm.

We will miss having Dad around - his love for woodworking can be seen in nearly every home and throughout the church in Albany. He had a love for giving the best and his workshop stands empty now of his presence but filled with the memories of the love that went into everything he created there.

Tagged

Ok Dublin tagged me months ago, but since I've been internetless I couldn't do anything. I am supposed to list 6 things about me that are weird....just 6? I think everything about me is weird LOL anyway I will try to narrow them to 6

1. I don't like to talk; I guess I should say I don't like to talk with my mouth because I love to "talk" with my fingers ;) *I absolutely hate the telephone

2. I prefer warm sultry weather any time of the year and anything below 75 is cold to me

3. I love to travel but I don't like to go alone and I don't usually go anywhere unless someone asks me to go

4. I like peanut butter, grape jelly and banana sandwiches

5. I'd rather be shopping than most anything else

6. I could eat chocolate for more than 3 meals a day and often have

ok, that's 6 now I will go tag someone and share the fun :)

Tag you're it!

So any suggestions on renaming our site???

Kim's in Hell is pretty appropriate but I don't think that is a very nice title for a family website....Suggestions welcome

We have a house now and yes, it's true I am now a Minnesnowtan so hell must have frozen over last Monday (that is the day we signed our lives away) It's a nice house but it sure is a long long way from Texas....so I must NEVER say NEVER again. I must somehow learn to love this God forsaken frozen tundra and find the good in every day I'm given. I am thankful now for every millisecond that the sun shines...then it gives me a headache from the reflection on the snow so it's kinda a double whammy.

My father in law's body is shutting down and he will be heading home soon. It has been hard to see him waste away. We went this weekend to say our goodbyes.

I hear Jaiden waking up - gotta go. I'll write more later and try to post some photos.
