Hi Kim,
We were stationed in Spangdahlem & Ramstein from 1998-2001 (USAF). My husband worked at Buchel AB (30 minutes north east of Spangdahlem.) We visited Trier quite a few times over those three years. My daughter and I loved shopping at the walk platz in Trier. Germany is beautiful, but the weather was the hardest to get used to (This is from a Florida girl, who love the sunshine, but the gray skies not so much!) We hope to go back there someday if the AF is so kind. :) We are also adopting from China (LID Nov-24-05). The wait gets longer and longer but we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel! Just wanted to say Hi and that seeing a picture of Trier brought back a lot of great memories! Kelly E., Scott AFB, IL
